Buhne, and ZoAnn Redmond-Kinsey, Buhne’s great-great-granddaughter. The pair had sailed up from San Francisco on stormy seas for two days, reliving Buhne’s voyage on the Laura Virginia from San Francisco to Humboldt Bay 161 years ago, in April 1850.”
