Individual
For $40/year subscribe to our quarterly magazine the Humboldt Historian, receive a 10% discount on bookstore purchases, and enjoy free access to the research facility, access to online information, back issues of the Humboldt Historian, and discounted research fees.
3-Year Individual Membership
For $110, same benefits as above, saves $10.
Digital
For $35/year enjoy all the benefits of a regular membership while saving paper! Digital memberships do not include hard-copy issues of the Humboldt Historian and must be read online.
Family
For $60/year, a family membership covers the member’s spouse and dependents. Same benefits as a regular membership for all!
Sponsor
For $100/year receive one free hour of research services in addition to all benefits that regular memberships receive.
Patron
For $150/year receive two free hours of research services in addition to all regular membership benefits.
Benefactor
For $250/year receive two free hours of research services, in addition to all regular membership benefits. We are no longer able to offer free tickets to the Annual Luncheon.
Collector
For $500/year receive two free hours of research services, in addition to all regular membership benefits. We are no longer able to offer free tickets to the Annual Luncheon.
Student Membership
For $20/year students may take up to 15 photographs of original documents during each visit. Most research fees are also waived for student members. OLLI members are included. Dated proof of current registration is required.
Digital Student Membership
FREE! Same as Student Membership, without a physical copy of the Humboldt Historian. It may be read online. Dated proof of current registration is required. This cannot be purchased online. Please call us at 707-445-4342 or email us at bookstore@humboldthistory.org, providing proof of enrollment.
Gift Memberships (please read details)
Gift memberships may be purchased at any level. Fill out the order form with your information (needed for the purchase), and when you reach the “additional text box,” enter the name, address and phone number of the person to whom you are gifting the membership. An email is also appreciated.
A short note can be included, such as “Happy Birthday.” Please keep the note under 60 characters, including spaces. You may also choose a particular date to have it sent. If you want the note to be from “Mom and Dad” or something similar, please include that information as well, otherwise we’ll use your full name on their notification letter. Questions? Education Memberships are no longer available.
An easy way for members to help the Society: Giving us your email address allows us the option of contacting members without paying long distance phone charges or postage. You’ll also receive our quarterly update! We never share member information, and promise to use your email sparingly. If you haven’t already provided one, please consider sending an email to bookstore@humboldthistory.org and asking to be added to the digital contact list.
