It's Never Too Late... Nunca Es Tarde... A Bilingual Story
In an effort to learn more about her family, the author traveled to Spain, France and Mexico talking to relatives and unearthing family papers.
With a warm touch, she pieces together her family story about how her mother and father independently worked their way north from Mexico to Humboldt County where they met, married and lived on 6th Street in Eureka while he worked in the mills of Samoa.
The author relates fond family memories and compiles many of the proverbs and sayings her father was well known for propounding. What makes this book even more special is that it is bi-lingual, the first half Spanish, the second English.
These remarkable books are fairly new to the Barnum shelves, but at the proverb from one says "It's never too late when good things arrive."
